Ok so, I've been working on a song on my guitar, my acoustic guitar and it's a Christian song. I won't let it out until I'm done writing it. Actually I'll not really even post the song here, maybe only in a mp3 file or something, because someone might steal it and make it there own. I've got along way to go so this is only the beginning. So far I've got a beginning, couple of phrases, hook line and a chorus too. Trying to and getting some chords laid down but it's hard to do since I've really have no clue what to do. Remember I've only been playing guitar for over one year now. But I've done a lot and have some simple songs playable for myself whenever I feel like it. I'd like to play more Christian songs but I'm having trouble with the old strings tugging me to the classic and 80's hair-band music and some new stuff too.
Maybe God will open my heart to a new sound in music, I'll pray for that!
I wrote this for myself the other day.
Here I'll share this with you blog:
My Statement of Faith:
I believe the Bible to be the inspired and only
infallible, authoritative Word of God. Therefore, emphasizes the exposition of
God's Word from Genesis to Revelation, line upon line, precept upon
precept.I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three
persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.I believe in the deity of Christ, in His Virgin Birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and
atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His
ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power
and glory.
I believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity,
regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and
acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a
relationship with God.I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit,
by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life; I further
believe His power and gifts are available to anyone who has faith in
Christ.I believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they
who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they who are lost unto the
resurrection of damnation.I believe it is important to uphold the scriptural
practices of the early church, the practice of water baptism and the regular
taking of Communion. I do not believe that either of these practices is
essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of our living
faith in Christ.
